Community Engagement through Innovation

Dr Jason Chow, HKSYU Vice President (University Administration), attended the “T with you” Community Exhibition organized by Jockey Club Carer Space in Tsing Yi. A highlight of the exhibition was a virtual reality (VR) experience titled “A Day in the Life of People with Dementia”, developed collaboratively by HKSYU’s Department of Social Work, Department of Counselling and Psychology, Teaching and Learning Development Office (TLDO), and Research Centre for Digital Education and Blended Intelligence. This immersive simulation offers participants a deeper understanding of the daily challenges and emotional difficulties faced by individuals living with dementia.
